This guy has been lurking on my garden wall. He can look a little scary at times but I believe he’s harmless. Unfortunately, Dobby who believes he is the lion of the neighbourhood thinks its an invasion. So I must refrain from putting out milk, making kissing sounds or doing other things that may cause all-out war and bloodshed in the compound.
And here is a poem on cats by Eunice D’Souza:
Advice to Women
Keep cats
if you want to learn to cope with
the otherness of lovers.
Otherness is not always neglect –
Cats return to their litter trays
when they need to.
Don’t cuss out of the window
at their enemies.
That stare of perpetual surprise
in those great green eyes
will teach you
to die alone.

Oi! How many times you goin’ to move?!
(But this is good. Nice photo!)
Hey, good luck with your move. Your header looks really nice. Mates are nice, but yes, everyone should be prepared to die alone. Sad as it sounds.
SB: Heh.
Sorry! Promise this is last time.
Banno: Thanks muchly.
Do you really think I need incentive? hehe…we should share some cat stories. And the dog and cat tiff is grossly exaggerated by humans. Dobby might learn to love this beautiful black creature after all.
Heh,heh. This guy sure raids your kitchen when Dobby’s asleep at night. Great pic
Though I’m not a cat person, I’d say, lovely pic.
Somehow the poem brings to mind a certain line from Dev D.
