Just to say
If you are in Bangalore, try to catch some films at the Queer Film Fest over the weekend. It will be running at Alliance Francaise on 10th and 11th, all day on both days. The line-up seems interesting, especially Wong Kar-Wai’s Happy Together, Paul Lee’s Thick Lips Thin Lips, Gus Van Sant’s Mala Noche and Our Family (KP Jayshankar & Anjali Monteiro). Full schedule here.
Then, there’s the next Toto Funds the Arts reading on Wednesday, April 15, 6.45 pm at Crossword Bookstore on Residency Road. This time’s reading features Srinath Perur and Janani Ambikapathy. Both are young writers from Bangalore and they’ll be reading a mix of short stories and poetry.
And Pratilipi’s latest issue is on terror. Go read.

I must move to Bangalore. Bombay is indecently warm this summer and the movies are rotten too.
