I’ve performed at poetry festivals such as Poetry with Prakriti 2008 (Chennai) and Poetry Africa 2009 (Durban). In 2008, I received the Toto Funds the Arts award for creative writing and in 2010, I received the Charles Wallace Writers Fellowship to University of Kent in England.
My current clients include Iconoculture, Just Books, Fida and Arghyam. I am open to considering writing / editorial consultancies in areas of interest. I contribute articles on art, gender and travel to newspapers and have been published in The Guardian (UK), The Hindu, Bangalore Mirror, Outlook Traveler guide books, Deccan Herald and Mid-Day. I am also founder-editor of Ultra Violet, a site for contemporary feminism in India.

Dear Anindita,
Your work glows. Thanks for sharing your writings and poems!
Quick question: Did you by any chance study at the Naval Public School in Delhi? I had a classmate with a similar name, and I do see a slight resemblance. A shot in the dark, perhaps, but just thought I should ask.
Keep writing,
Rucha
@Rucha: Thank you for reading.
No, I didn’t…

Thank you for your writings which inspires me to work on them and building up my own perspective on Gender.
